Recipes for Mixed Drinks by Hugo Ensslin

(1916, 1917) This book provides an excellent snapshot of the New York cocktail landscape from the years just before Prohibition. That said, Ensslin wasn’t very well-known in his day. His book contains many originals, or at least recipes that don’t appear elsewhere or that appear in this book first.
