Pumpkin Spice Syrup

Our 2.0 version of pumpkin syrup, this one's far more classical than our delectable miso-laced version from 2022 :)

INGREDIENTS

(1) 15-oz. can pumpkin puree (about 425g)
320g (a little over 1½ cups) demerara sugar 
320g (a little over 1½ cups) white sugar 
320g (about 1½ cups) water
1½ teaspoons pumpkin spice blend*
*homemade or storebought; mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg, ground ginger, allspice, and clove


Yield: approx. 28 oz.

Add all to a saucepan and set on medium-low heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved and other ingredients are completely integrated.
