Cocktail Boothby’s American Bar-Tender by William T. Boothby

(1891, 1908) A great source on late-nineteenth century cocktail culture in San Francisco. The city was an important hub in drink-making from the 1840s on, due in large part to the Gold Rush. The book is arranged by template (Fixes, Fizzes, Flips…) with great “saloon”-style headings.
