Strawberry syrup
This is the strawberry syrup we make at Gigantic that uses a muddle-and-heat method that Ned developed for our raspberry syrup. It’s very good!
INGREDIENTS
1 quart strawberries, cored and quartered
750g white sugar
375g water
Combine strawberries and sugar to a saucepan and muddle into a paste. Add water and set heat to medium. Stir until sugar dissolves. Let cool and strain out solids using a fine mesh sieve. Bottle and store in the refrigerator.
