Vanilla Syrup
We used this vanilla syrup (borrowed from Gigantic) for our March 2023 Gold Rush-themed drinks.
INGREDIENTS
1½ cup (350g) white sugar
1½ cup (340g) hot water
1 vanilla bean
Split vanilla bean down the middle with a knife. Add all to a saucepan and set on medium-low. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let syrup steep with vanilla bean in it for at least 4 hours; longer to increase flavor. Store in the fridge.
