Hot Pimm’s

I see our Club Pimm’s as a pre-batched cocktail, apéritif, and digestif all in one. It occurred to me that, served in the style of amaro caldo, it would make an excellent, warming beverage for a chilly evening or a rainy Sunday afternoon–both common in April where I live. Adjust the recipe below to suit the size of your serving vessel.

INGREDIENTS

1 part Club Pimm’s
2 parts boiling water
Lemon twist, to finish
Dehydrated citrus wheel, for garnish
Nutmeg, for garnish


ABV LEVEL

Preheat a heatproof serving vessel, such as a mug or teacup. Discard water from serving vessel. Pour in desired amount of Pimm’s and top with hot water. Express and discard a lemon twist. Garnish with a nutmeg and a dehydrated citrus wheel.
