Summit House

This is cocktail is named for the beautiful hotel that once sat atop Mount Tom. A mix of London dry gin, blanc and dry vermouths, and homemade lime cordial, it’s meant to be less of a Martini riff and more of a stirred Gimlet.

INGREDIENTS

1½ oz. London dry gin
¾ oz. blanc vermouth
¾ oz. dry vermouth
½ oz. homemade lime cordial
Long piece of lime peel, for garnish
Cocktail cherry, for garnish, preferably Luxardo


ABV LEVEL

Stir with ice in mixing glass for 20 seconds. Strain into Nick & Nora glass. Garnish with a long strip of lime peel wrapped around a cocktail cherry, with a pick stuck through. Lay pick across glass.
